In a context of increasing demand and electricity rate pressures, it is incumbent on all stakeholders within the power sector to ensure we make the best use of all available resources. The TGO Alliance was born out of this desire to ensure our energy resources are utilized in an optimal manner and valued for the fulsome set of benefits they provide.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) is joining the Total Grid Orchestration alliance to proactively address both current and future challenges in managing the electric grid. By collaborating with other leading utilities and technology partners within the TGO alliance, REC aims to bridge the traditional boundaries of generation, transmission, and distribution, thereby reducing system inefficiencies and supporting the energy transition.
